Devon Girard is a passionate and collaborative leader committed to supporting entrepreneurs to advance economic growth in her hometown of Peterborough. Bringing more than two decades of experience in communications, government, non-for-profit, and media, Devon leads the team at Community Futures Peterborough as its Executive Director. Before joining Community Futures Peterborough, Devon led the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy programming at Northumberland CFDC where she founded the StrikeUP Canada digital conference for women entrepreneurs. Her prior roles include leading other large-scale projects for the 2010 Olympics, as well as an advisor to political leaders in the Government of British Columbia.

Devon lives in Peterborough with her husband and two daughters.
