Founded by Victoria Jessup and Dara Bergeron, Kindred Coffee is a charming café located in the heart of Lindsay. It’s warm, welcoming atmosphere, along with made-to-order hot or cold brews, handcrafted specialty drinks, and a selection of small bites and sweet treats, make it a popular space for locals and tourists alike.

Victoria and Dara knew they had a winning idea when they wanted to open Kindred Coffee, but they needed more than just their personal investments to bring their dream to life. When they sought funding, they discovered a significant gap in what was available. Loan officers wanted a year-long track record and had nothing to offer a new brick-and-mortar business venture.

Everything changed when they discovered the KLCFDC. The KLCFDC works with businesses large and small to help fuel the economy in our local communities. We provided business advice and planning support to Kindred, as well as a term loan, to help them get their business started.
